Employing the Samsung camcorder (SMX-C10) and I can’t appear to find a seperate plug-in microphone. Need to have it for a presentation. My professor, whom I am carrying out research for, advised the “Audio Technica ATR-6550 Video Camera Condenser Shotgun Microphone” located on Amazon.

Will this work? Have any other suggestions?

The camcorder only has a AV input and composite input?

Sorry its not a composite input its known as “DC IN”….

Also, a person at Best Purchase stated I could use an adapter….

If there is no microphone socket you can’t use an external microphone – it really is that basic! If you should use that camcorder, and the sound’s not very good adequate, you will need to use a separate sound recorder. If you happen to be desperate, see what you can do with a mobile phone.
