I have a samsung scd 103 camcorder and I would like to record some white noise off of my television for use in a quick film. I know there is a way employing the vcr and the a/v cords but I have not seen any genuine concert answer to it aside from”just hook up a/v cables” If any person can point me in the proper path it would be much appreciated.

AV line out from VCR to AV line in on CAMCORDER. U will need to alter cam to line input vs. camera input

you cant unless your camcorder has a video in line which it wont.

If all you want is white noise, a lot of editing applications come with clips like that, or you can download 1. But to answer your query, your camcorder need to have come with a cable with red, white, and yellow RCA connectors on 1 end and a modest plug that looks like a headphone jack on the other finish. Hook the RCA connectors to the video and audio out on your Tv (yellow is video, other two are audio). Connect the other end to your camcorder’s a/v jack. Put the camcorder in playback/VCR mode and press record. This works with most camcorders, but if it doesn’t, verify the user manual.
